April 23, 2008 ASI Canada April UpdateFiled under: ASI Canada Hello Everyone, Wow, it’s been a busy time in the past few weeks! During March we were busy travelling the country on the Spring Seminar Tour, this year with 14 great suppliers on tour. Response from distributors on this year’s tour was “Best Ever”! The Fall Seminar Tour is scheduled for August – keep an eye on www.asicentral.ca for more information during the month of June. Earlier this month we were at the ASI Show in Las Vegas. The mood on the show floor was very upbeat this year, in speaking to a number of my fellow Canadians they were pleased with the number of suppliers that had new product ideas and the big focus on products that are “green”! Some of the products they thought were of special interest were: Turning Lamp Shades (it’s a night light), a selection of products made in the U.S. from CORN, Donut Boxes, a Ball Cap Opener, a 12 can cooler that dispenses a can at a time, an oil funnel that you can keep in your car and a cell phone holder that holds your cell phone while it’s charging. On Thursday night we hosted the special Canada Reception right after the Trade Show, what a great turn-out we had! The room was jammed, thank-you to everyone that attended. Next month we will be at the ASI Show in New York, for those of you attending the New York Show don’t forget to drop by the Canada Reception on Wednesday, May 7th at 4:00pm right at the Javits Center (just check the show guide for the location). Next month we will also be on the road in Ontario with the first ever ASI Canada Road Tour being held in Ottawa, Toronto North, Hamilton and London just click on the link “ASI Canada Road Tour” for more information and to register.
