Happy Labour Day Weekend!

While for most of us all we can think about today is T.G.I.F. and that we now get 3 days off thanks to the Labour Day Weekend. For many of us this symbolizes the end of the lazy, hazy days of summer and back to reality – kids back to school and hopefully business back on track.

This is actually a holiday to celebrate the workers of this country, I found it very interesting to read that this all started in Hamilton and spread quickly to Toronto. The movement began as a fight to reduce working hours from 12 hours a day to 9, interesting as many people I know in this industry are working 10 – 14 hours a day.

Anyway, enough about us workaholics, I for one am going to take this weekend off and enjoy it! It gives me a chance to finally clean house and get organized, while I have no problem working, I actually enjoy working – I do hate cleaning house. I’ve never been known as a domestic diva, cooking is not really my thing either just ask my family they have suffered thru my attempts throughout the years.

And, before you start thinking I never clean house and live in filth – no, far from it I’m so crazy I actually bleach everything. My office is pretty well organized I need to keep it under control as I spend most of my time there but the house well that’s another story.

In my home I’m actually pretty lazy I have a tendency to just hide things in closest or drawers, I still have about 20 plastic containers in the basement that I haven’t opened since we moved here. Don’t even ask me about the garage I have no idea what I have in there. I think every cupboard and closest is full right now and I can never find anything I’m looking for.

So, this is it I’m going to get this house organized over the weekend although my fear is I may have run out of room to store things and will probably end up with more plastic containers in the basement!

Enjoy your last long weekend of the summer and be safe out there!

Thanks from us, Beth those are great pictures. Especially of the chesee factory just loved that squeaky chesee curd nothing like that down here. I also like that new front porch wonder why we never thought of that before. And, for Lorie’s sake a hand railing down the side would be nice. It is so hard to pull yourself up stairs when your lifters get too old to work properly. Anyway, we enjoyed the pictures.

Thanks! I’m really gettnig into the video aspect of music marketing. There’s so much potential and fun things to do. I was just watching My Drunk Kitchen on YouTube and she’s gettnig millions of views. And all she’s doing is gettnig drunk, being silly, and not even successfully cooking anything!
