Force Seminar across Canada.\u00a0 Fast forward to Spring of 2008, 22 years later and the previously exclusive Team Task Force Seminars had morphed into the ASI Canada Seminars.\u00a0 Same tried and true format.<\/p>\n<p>Quality time with quality people. Suppliers anxious to tell their story and distributors anxious to learn about new products and those all-important selling ideas.\u00a0 Not to mention a bag or two full of new sales samples and literature and a lot of draw prize winners.\u00a0 Meeting old friends and customers and many new ones.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We launched the tour in Winnipeg as we have so often done.\u00a0 A little friendly camaraderie in the pub Sunday night and away we go.\u00a0 Some new companies on tour with us now that the tour has opened up to include ASI suppliers (on a space available basis): PVH Career Apparel, Mini Media, Bonica, Canadian Spirit and Capco K\/C Cap.\u00a0 I say &#8220;new&#8221; although in past years I had represented Mini Media and Bonica and helped launch Canadian Spirit into our Industry.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Had a great turnout in Winnipeg on Monday&#8211;a little quieter than normal though because Randy Shippam couldn&#8217;t attend.\u00a0 Then off to Calgary.\u00a0 Meet more old friends and customers and north to Edmonton, where a visit to the Harvest Room in the Hotel Macdonald has become somewhat of a tradition.\u00a0 &#8220;Sell out&#8221; crowd in Edmonton again and off to my home town: Vancouver.\u00a0 Flew in under clear skies and a view to make me weep.<\/p>\n<p>A big &#8220;Thank-you&#8221; to all those distributors that attended our Seminars.\u00a0 We would love to hear from you if you have any suggestions on how to improve them or any success stories that resulted from your attendance.\u00a0 <strong>Why not leave a comment below and tell us\u00a0 your seminar success story!\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I would be remiss if I didn&#8217;t thank our &#8220;old&#8221; TTF suppliers that travelled with us too:\u00a0 Adspec Images, The Bag Man, Canada Sportswear, D Group, Debco, Hydeport, Precidio, Souvenir Avanti and Spector Image.\u00a0 ASI rounded things out with a session that focused on the product sourcing and marketing power of ESP.<\/p>\n<p>I look forward to seeing you on our next tour in August!<\/p>\n<p>-Fred<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Boot Camp 1986.\u00a0 It was the first T.A.S.K.
